paivansadeThe fridge has been fixed, then it died again after several days. Currently waiting for the repairman to call back and make another attempt to revive it. Big meh.
In the meantime I have finally left my job. We also went to Warsaw pride with a handmade banner (it's been a while since we've painted any), I had tacos for the first time, and I have unclogged the bathroom sink. Not much happening on the sewing front as I got a terrible case of hay fever and slept through most days. I did design another quilt top to sew which I am rather excited about (it will be called Yoyo), but I need to finish a thing first before I am allowed to proceed, so I may be a little stuck.
I have gone through all of my photos from the past decade and collected all quilting related ones into neat single-project folders. Today I started uploading the finished ones to Textillia. Maybe I'll manage to keep this up for a good while. The biggest downside to this portal is the 15 photos per project limit, but oh well. I still remember the internet pre-facebook when even a single free photo hosted online was a win, so... yeah. let's keep at it.
I am kinda starving, and also I need to go sign up to the neighborhood public library. I started reading Beautiful Creatures and I only have volume 1, so I will definitely need it. And a kebab or something.
I already feel like the 3 month vacation I have planned for myself will be too short. And also, perhaps, too long. I think I just need to start working part time, 40 hours a week is utterly unsustainable.
