Frustration station

I sewed up the March clothing scrap BOM on Thurdsay, and ...I was almost in tears over how bad the tension on my machine has gotten. Not only thread pulling to the back all the damn time, but also tonnnnnnns of skipped stitches now. This is such a frustration that I feel physically repelled from touching the machine altogether.
I just went to Etsy and bought the official service manual for it in hopes that it'll magically solve my problems. It's a really awesome manual, of course, but even attempting the fix would require the use of tools I haven't even heard of.
March will be the month with the crappiest quilting statistics since I have started keeping record. And my head is so flooded with new (and old) ideas, and my closet is so full of WIPs and fresh fabrics, that it's really not an issue with inspiration. It's just the shoddy tool that I've got.
On the same day that Beth-monster has started really acting up, I broke my vow never to use AI chats for anything, and I did an extensive research on both the machine that I am considering buying, as well as my current model. All the info on the Brother was pretty consistent with my experiences, so I am hoping the reports on the Janome would be just as reliable... I am rather offput (put off?) by the fact that there's a recommendation to take it in for servicing yearly. I don't have the mental resources (as well as the infrastructure) to do it quite so often. Janome dealerships are not exactly around every corner in Poland, and I don't have a car to drive it to wherever one may be (Poznań maybe?) quite so frequently.
Anyway, yesterday was my boss' last day and we've somehow avoided being weepy. I only had to stay 1.5h overtime afterwards. We'll see what next week brings... The 2nd girl I've been training, the one in Germany, is currently off for 2 weeks on a family emergency, so again we are left with nobody to actually do the work. This will be so very, very bad...
Sigh, let's pick that zombie machine up and try to revive it. I am hoping she's just being ultra picky about the new needle that I gave her on Thursday. Granted, it's a brand we've never tried before...
